Building Management System (BMS)

A site-level supervisory system that monitors and controls a building's mechanical and electrical equipment, such as HVAC, refrigeration, lighting and access control. BMS controllers are often installed and remotely managed by contractors, which makes them a common blind spot in security inventories.
